Registrant Install Requirements
Understand where to place each InGo widget in your registration flow and what your platform needs to support a successful installation.
This article outlines the standard requirements for integrating InGo into your registration flow. Most InGo installations follow the setup below, though some registration platforms may require additional steps. For platform-specific guidance, see the related resources at the bottom of this article.
Standard Installation Requirements

Most InGo installations require widgets to be placed on three distinct pages of your registration flow:
- First page of registration
Install the Login Widget here, above the fold, so it is immediately visible to registrants. - Form page for data collection
Install the Registration Widget here. - Confirmation or “thank you” page
Install both the Confirmation Widget and the Social Surface here. The Social Surface must appear at the top of the page, visible without scrolling. The Confirmation Widget must fire before the Social Surface.
Important: All widget code must be placed in the page body, not the header or footer.
Your specific registration flow may include more pages or use different page types, but InGo needs these three placements to function correctly and deliver full campaign performance.
Common Installation Issues
The following issues can reduce performance or prevent InGo from working as expected:
- Social Surface placed below the fold
This can result in approximately a 40% performance drop. - Login Widget missing from the start of registration
The Login Widget should be visible on the first page of registration so registrants can engage with InGo immediately. - VIPShare link used instead of the Login Widget
A VIPShare link should not be used as a substitute for the Login Widget. - Late installation
InGo should be live when registration opens, or at least 90 days before your event. - Widgets installed in the header or footer
All widget code must be placed in the page body. - iframe-based registration pages
Platforms that use iframes during the registration journey may limit InGo’s ability to install widgets.
